Feeling Overwhelmed? This March Giveaway is For You!
At first glance, a book about business and entrepreneurship might seem far removed from the world of 18th-century witches and historical intrigue. But at its core, Connecting to Your Chaos is about resilience, reinvention, and the power of claiming one’s true strength—much like the heroines in To Rescue a Witch.
Just as the wise women in To Rescue a Witch must navigate a world that seeks to define and confine them, modern women often find themselves battling expectations and exhaustion. This ebook offers a fresh perspective on overcoming obstacles and embracing self-worth, making it a perfect (and quick!) read for anyone who seeks tips to become a more effective entrepreneur. Plus, who doesn’t love a little wisdom from a fellow woman daring to rewrite her own story?
I met Meg King when I taped an episode of her podcast Women Beyond the Table. We had such a good rapport I asked if she wanted to share her book with readers on my newsletter. (I always like to give freebies to my fans!) Thankfully, she agreed and her book is part of my March giveaway. (Details at the end.)
Here’s a lightly edited interview. Enjoy!

What inspired you to write this book?
So many of us women walk through life in chaos, exhaustion, and overwhelm. We have the endless pressure of providing and caring for others. We put ourselves last, which comes with a cost. I wanted to share bits of my story and practical tips on how to change that narrative so women entrepreneurs can see that self-care and self-preservation can be in alignment with success and happiness.
Tell us a little something about yourself…
“Sometimes, good things need to fall apart for better things to fall together.” – Marilyn Monroe. This quote sums up so much of my life’s experience. My life was good, and then I lost it all. In the slow process of rebuilding, I have learned more about my authentic self. To see life in a new light with positivity. To untangle the chaos that can consume me and see clearly what is in front of me. I took on learning to be a life and positive intelligence coach so I can bring my clients more balance and growth with strategies for overcoming challenges and living a fulfilling life.
What are 4 key takeaways you’d like women to know?
- Being overwhelmed is not just about being busy. It’s a disconnection from the heart. Acknowledging it and getting to the root cause can create the shifts needed for more peace.
- Everything is made up of energy. Taking a minute to notice your energy and focusing on something else will allow you to shift your energy in the moment.
- Fear can be paralyzing and intimidating. It can also be an invitation to grow into a higher calling of yourself.
- Mindset is everything; nothing is so big that you can’t overcome it!
In researching this book, did you learn any unexpected, unusual, or fascinating information?
I learned the emotional toll on women entrepreneurs is larger than on men, 44.1% vs 37.1%
You created a podcast to help other businesswomen. How and why did you start that?
I’m the podcast co-host of Women Beyond the Table. When Tammy Cohen asked me to be the co-host, I was a hell yes! I want to learn, understand, and share the stories of other women. To make a positive impact and support other women on our journey.
What projects are you working on at present?
I’m working on my next book called “Your Cape Has Holes- Discovering the Real Gifts of Your Power Leaks.” This book is for those women who relate to being a SuperShero. I want to share my SuperShero story of how any overdone strength can become a weakness, but some gifts and opportunities live within those challenging times. If we can harness that we can overcome some of life’s most difficult times. I’m also excited to offer my six-week Chaos to Clarity DNA Mastermind workshop. It has been a real game-changer in gaining insight into what a happy and successful life can look like.
What’s something interesting, fun, or funny that most people don’t know about you?
I can be a dare-devil, but I’m also a clutz and accident-prone, so needless to say, being a dare-devil hasn’t always worked out well, LOL!
Thanks Meg!
