A Season of Crafts Worth Sharing
This fall, the giveaways went beyond books.
Throughout the season, I partnered with three incredibly talented artisans who generously donated handcrafted items to share with newsletter readers. Each piece was thoughtfully made—witchy, cozy, and rooted in creativity—perfect companions to a good story and a quiet moment.
Below is a roundup of the artisans featured in this fall’s giveaways, along with links to their interviews so you can learn more about their craft, inspiration, and the magic they bring into the world. If you missed these giveaways, consider this your second chance to discover makers worth knowing.
The Threaded Crone (Kitchen Witch)
We begin in the heart of the home.
The Threaded Crone brings the spirit of the kitchen witch to life—where creativity, nourishment, and intention intertwine. Rooted in cozy rituals and handmade care, these pieces remind us that magic doesn’t have to be grand to be powerful. Sometimes it’s found in the quiet rhythm of making, mending, and tending.

From the warmth of the hearth, we step outside into twilight, history, and the whisper of spirits.
Kevin Clark (Broomstick Weaver & Ghost Tour Guide)
Kevin Clark bridges craft and storytelling in the most enchanting way.
As a broomstick weaver and ghost tour guide, Kevin’s work carries both history and mystery—objects made by hand, meant to be held, walked with, and imagined. His brooms feel like something discovered rather than bought, as if they’ve already lived a life before finding their way to you.

And finally, as evening settles in, we return indoors where light flickers, scents linger, and the night grows cozy.
Midnight Cauldron Shop (Candles)
Midnight Cauldron Shop closes the circle with scent and flame.
Each candle feels like a small ritual in itself—hand-poured blends designed to evoke comfort, grounding, and a touch of magic. Perfect for long reading nights, quiet reflection, or setting the mood for a story worth savoring.

Supporting authors will always be at the heart of my giveaways but supporting makers is becoming just as important.
In 2026, I’ll be expanding these collaborations to include even more handcrafted items from local and small-batch artisans, alongside books I truly love. These giveaways are my way of celebrating creativity in all its forms and of sharing a little everyday magic with this community.
If you’d like first access to upcoming giveaways, artisan spotlights, and behind-the-scenes notes, be sure you’re subscribed to my newsletter. That’s where the stories—and the crafts—are shared first.
